What we collect

Your name, email, password (stored hashed, never readable), the interests you pick, and the content and activity you create in the app: posts, comments, votes, check-ins, course progress, food and protein logs, weight entries, and the money items you enter by hand (subscriptions, savings goals, balances). We never connect to your bank. If you turn on reminders, we store a push subscription for your device.

Your family's data

Household features store what your family enters: calendar events, lists, meal plans, chores, and the names and colors of family members you add, including kids. Kids never have accounts and we never contact them. Their names exist only so your family's calendar makes sense. A partner account you invite sees the household's family data, not your personal logs.

Health data

On iPhone only, and only if you allow it, the app reads three things from Apple Health: today's step count, today's exercise minutes, and last night's sleep duration. It uses them to check off your movement and sleep habits for you instead of making you tap. We store the daily totals, nothing else, and we never write anything back to Apple Health. We never sell, rent, advertise against, or share health data with anyone. Turn it off any time in the iPhone's Health settings and the app carries on with manual check-ins. The Android app does not use Health Connect and requests no health permissions.

How we use it

To run the service: personalize your briefing and home screen, show your posts to other members, track your streaks and progress, and email you about your account. We don't sell your data. Ever.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and everything in it for as long as your account is open, because that is the product: your streaks, your family calendar and your course progress only work if they persist. When you delete your account we erase your profile, your logs, your posts and comments, your household data and your marketing record from our live systems straight away, and we never restore a deleted account. Two things outlive that, and neither is used for anything: encrypted database backups, which are kept on a rolling schedule by our hosting provider and overwrite themselves as they age out, and server logs holding IP addresses and error traces, which expire automatically within our provider's own short retention window. Stripe separately keeps payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires it to.

Deleting your account

You can do it yourself, in the app, without asking us: Profile, then Delete account, then type DELETE. It removes your account and your content on the spot and cannot be undone. Removing the app from your phone does not delete the account. If you would rather we did it, email support@daddesigned.online and we will action it within 30 days.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and we never see or store card numbers. We keep your membership status and a Stripe customer reference so you can manage billing.

AI processing

An AI service (Anthropic's Claude) summarizes public news for the Daily Briefing and writes your weekly recap from a short summary of your own week's stats: check-ins, protein days, upcoming events. Your data is never used to train AI models and is never sent for advertising. Health data is never sent to it.

Who else sees your data

Only the services that make the app run: our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for the two AI features above, and, when you sign up, your name and email go to Google Sheets and ClickFunnels so we have a record of members and can email you. None of them are advertising companies and none of them get your data for their own purposes. We do not sell or share data for advertising, and there are no ad networks or analytics trackers in the app.

What other members see

Your first name, optional 'dad of' tag, and what you post. Your email is never shown to other members.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed and are unreadable even to us, and access to the production database is limited to the people who run the service.

Cookies

One session cookie to keep you logged in. No ad trackers.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and we will do it within 30 days. Email support@daddesigned.online.

Children

The app is for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13. The kids' names a parent adds to a household are not accounts and we never contact them.
